Old Souls Meade (PV, D)

Meade is a small-framed cow with low input needs and large horns. She has unique white markings on her head passed to her from her sire HSH Red's Mojo. Meade had her qualifying Impact Dam calf this spring. She is bred back for a spring calf with Duncan II of Faye-AAA (D), and has a perfect breeding record. We have chosen to sell Meade because her udder is not ideal. We kept her dam calving until she was 13, at which point she needed milking down before calves could nurse on their own. Meade may follow this same path, though she's had no issues to date and likely won't for several more years. 

Meade is confirmed bred with a bull calf, sired by Duncan Faye II, OSF Rocksteady, or OSF Lochmaddy. See our herdbook for more information on these bulls. Old Souls Farm will confirm with DNA testing. Due 04/20/26. Registered yellow.
