Old Souls Barra + STR Encore

Barra is a dun cow sired by HSH Red's Mojo. Her dam, H2 Old Souls Agatha, is one of our favorite cows for her small-frame, low-input needs, and very friendly, curious demeanor towards people, goats and just about anything that approaches her. Agatha is a registered impact dam. Barra is almost a chocolate colored dun who inherited much of her mom's temperament and has started off strong with fertility.

This is another mating with Encore. We hoped to increase the chance for dun progeny with moderate frames and all of Encore's amazing attributes. There is potential here for strong a herd sire or heifer to add to your herd.

STR Encore was the 2023 National AHCA Champion Bull. He weighed 1,822lbs with a ribeye of 18.3 inches at the show in January 2023. He is long, extremely wide, and absolutely correct. Plus, this Athletic bull walks like a cat, absolutely correct in every movement. His scrotal circumference is 43 cm (Feb 2022). He is the full brother of STR Revolution, a NWSS National Champion Bull. His mother is a three-time NWSS National Champion Female, STR Enchanted. His father is STR Ruthless Game, who was a NWSS National Champion Bull and whose sire was a Australian National Champion. 

His 2024 calf crop averaged a birth weight of 70lbs and are the spitting image of their daddy. They're extremely balanced throughout their whole body and move out beautifully.
